NEWS: Welcome To Our New Site

Hi everyone, and welcome to the all new Chromakey website.

We’re really excited to present you the new site which will be the online companion piece to the magazine.  Along with each issue, we’re hoping the website will become you’re go to place for things sci-fi, fantasy, and cult television.  While the website is fairly new, over the coming days/weeks, we’ll be adding more and more content to the site.  (And if you’d like to become part of the online, and/or magazine team, you’ll find information on the site detailing how you can get involved.)

To tell you a bit about the magazine…

Chromakey is a new journal dedicated to science-fiction, fantasy, telefantasy, and cult television. Each issue will delve into aspects of specific television series through original interviews, in-depth and informative articles, reviews, analysis, and much more.  We cover British, American, and Canadian television series. A sample of some of the series we cover includes: Westworld, Arrow, The Flash, The Expanse, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, Star Trek, Stargate, Survivors, The Champions, Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased), The Invisible Man, etc.

One of the most oft asked questions we’ve received since we announced Chromakey has been whether we’re a fanzine or a professional magazine.  To be honest we’re neither a fanzine (e.g. Whotopia, Plaything of Sutekh, Andersonic) nor a professional large-scale magazine (like a TV Zone, People, Us, Starburst, Vogue, GQ, Doctor Who Magazine, etc.), but rather a hybrid of the two — something in-between (i.e. amateur and professional). The publisher’s intention is to do a modern-day version of Timescreen, The Frame, and Action TV, while aiming for something that is a little more professionally produced and run — something along the lines of a literary journal.

Anyways, welcome to the site, have a look around and feel free to bookmark us in your favourites.
